Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Microblading, Powder Brows and Combination Brows?
1. Ombré Powdered Brows is the newest shading technique. It is 100% customizable and is great for anyone who wants a soft and natural look. This method creates pixilated dots to mimic powder filled brows with no harsh front or outline. This shadow technique is minimally invasive, lasts longer and can be buildable from light to dark. ( perfect for oil skin, mature skin or clients who have bleeding problems, large pore…)
2. Microblading is creating 3D hair like strokes using microfine needles or very small little blade. This method is suitable for candidates who have plenty of existing hair to blend with the created strokes. Great for those who have darker hair and want more volume. For those who have light and fine hair, it’s not recommended as the strokes will heal to be a bit thicker and may not blend naturally. Plus, there is no ombré option for this technique.
3.Micro + Shading is the perfect combination of both Powdered brows and 3D hair-like strokes. This method uses both manual and machine techniques to create natural strokes with a soft, powdery makeup finish.

7. Your eyebrows are not going to turn red or blue
Oh, the horror we see on social media about eyebrows turning red and blue with traditional tattooing! Thanks to the benefits of microblading your eyebrows, you don’t have to worry about that anymore. The color change is due to a particular type of ink used, which is not used often for microblading. Microblading pigments are organic and specifically designed to not change in color but to wear off with time. However, be sure to investigate and research your options thoroughly so your eyebrows won’t go wrong.
8. It doesn’t hurt
If you’re afraid of needles, you don’t have to worry at all about microblading. Standard procedure is to use numbing topical ointments instead of local anesthesia, so you won’t ever be injected with a responsible esthetician – that’s one of the benefits of microblading your eyebrows. The ointments work wonders, and you really shouldn’t feel any pain. Some people feel so relaxed they even fall asleep!
9. It’s safe

Will your natural lashes get harmed or damaged with lash extentions?
The biggest myth is that lash extensions ruin your own lashes. They do not. If applied correctly and properly, they are safe and do not ruin the health of your natural lashes. Be sure not to rub your eyes or tug or pull on the extensions because this can cause lash loss and even damage to your natural lashes. If lashes are applied properly and to each individual lash, they won’t fall out.

- Wear mascara.
Lashes must be fresh and clean in order to be properly prepped to receive eye lash extension. no mascara!
- Curl your lashes on the day of your lash application.
We need your eyelashes to be in the most natural and healthy state they can prior to your lash extension application. please do not curl your eyelashes, or use any other manipulation on them the day of your appointment.
How often do you need to get lash extensions redone?
Lash extensions last through a full growth cycle of natural eyelashes, typically six to eight weeks. That said, because each person’s lash growth is somewhat variable (just hair growth), I suggest light lash maintenance every two to three to weeks to maintain a full look.
Is it OK to also wear mascara when my lashes need a fill and I can't get the appointment on time?
If you are planning to wear mascara in addition to the extensions, only use it on the tips of the extensions and with a very light hand. This will be enough to give your eyes that "pop" along with the extensions. Using mascara at the base of the extensions will get very clumpy. The Extensions will quickly fall off.

What's the lash lift process like?
The process is very similar to eyelash extensions. Your bottom lashes and top eyelids are covered with a gel pad. Your eyes are to remain closed during the entire process. Depending on the length of your natural lashes, a silicone rod (comes in 3 sizes - small, medium, and large) is placed on top of the eyelids to determine which size silicone rod best suits your lashes to achieve the best lift. Once the size is determined; the rod is placed onto the gel pad of the eyelids and a lash glue (water-soluble) is used to push the natural lashes back onto the rod - a lash setting solution is applied for 5-7 minutes on both sides. The setting solution then gets removed with a micro-swab and the lash neutralizer solution is applied on both sides for 5 minutes. During this process, the tinting process will take place after the neutralizer is removed. The tinting portion takes about 5-10 minutes.
