Thank you for choosing us for your Eyelash Extensions experience.

Please make sure you read the following instructions to assure the best results for your procedure.

We understand your concern when it comes to the eyelash extensions. Most of us will have questions. Does our natural lashes get harmed or damaged??

It depends on the artist's work and their application. If it is done correctly, they are safe and will not ruin the health of your natural lashes. Be sure not to rub your eyes or tug or pull on the extensions because this can cause lash loss and even damage to your natural lashes.

Your natural lashes have to be clean. We suggest you wash your lashes with the “lash extensions cleanser” right (5-15 mins) before your appointment. You can come to the shop 5-15 mins before your appointment to wash your lashes ( We have the wash cleanser ready for you at the shop - please ask the front desk or your lash artist to show you where the cleanser is located.

We also retail them if you need one for yourself. Besides that, please make sure to avoid drinking too much water or caffeine before your appointment. Because you  may need to use the ladies room during the appointment and it will be easy to irritate your eyes.

Please also turn off your phone. If you have a text message during the appointment and it's not an emergency. Please don't open your eyes without letting your lash artist know. Tweezers are working around your eyes and it's really dangerous. Also your eyes will get burned and keep tearing after that. Eyes will be irritated and retention will be bad.

PLEASE DO

Adding Lashes

  • Shower prior to your appointment.

  • eliminating any unnecessary contact with water or steam within the first 48 hours will insure that the bond between the semi permanent lashes and your natural lashes has enough time to properly set.

  • Wear comfortable clothing.

  • You will  lay  down for 60 to 90 minutes with dimmed lights and soft music as your backdrop during your eyelash application, comfortable clothes will allow you to make the most of this time to relax and be pampered.

  • Remove your contacts.

  • Your eyes will be closed during the application of your eyelash extensions,  to avoid any discomfort, it is always suggested that contacts are removed allowing eyes to be comfortable in a natural and rested state.

PLEASE DON'T

Makeup Accessories

  • Wear makeup.

  •  Makeup products worn close to the eye will need to be removed prior to the lash application process. Coming to your appointment with a clean face will save time and eliminate the need for your lash stylist to remove your eye makeup.

  • Please remember, lash extensions first, makeup later.

  • All makeup products have to be oil free.

  • Mascara and Eyeliner are not recommended.

  • For clients who love heavy makeup. The extension's retention will be bad.  Please try to apply less makeup products around the eyes area + don’t apply the eyeshadow too close the eyelid.

  • Apply face creams or sunblock to the eye area.

  •  The oils within many moisturizers and sunblock can prevent the eyelash glue from properly adhering to your natural lashes, dramatically reducing the longevity of your eyelash extensions.

  • Wear mascara.

  •  Lashes must be fresh and clean in order to be properly prepared to receive eyelash extension.  no mascara!

  • Curl your lashes on the day of your lash application.

  •    We need your eyelashes to be in the most natural and healthy state they can prior to your lash extension application.  please do not curl your eyelashes, or use any other manipulation on them the day of your appointment.

How often do you need to get lash extensions redone?

Your natural lashes will naturally fall off 6-7 lashes everyday. Because each person’s lash growth is somewhat variable (just hair growth). We suggest lash maintenance every 2 to 3 weeks to maintain a full look.

Is it OK to also wear mascara when my lashes need a fill and I can't get the appointment on time?

 ( We suggest not to)

If you are planning to wear mascara in addition to the extensions, only use it on the tips of the extensions and with a very light hand. This will be enough to give your eyes that "pop" along with the extensions. Using mascara at the base of the extensions will get very clumpy. The Extensions will quickly fall off.

EXTENSIONS AFTER CARE

Applying Makeup
  • Avoid water 24 hours after service.

  • Fact: face sleepers lose lashes faster. Avoid sleeping directly on your lashes. You may notice increased lash loss on your preferred sleeping side.

  • Do not use cotton balls or q-tips near your lashes.

  • When it comes to your cosmetics, any oils will break down the adhesives on your lashes. Use an oil-free  makeup remover & avoid creamy makeup.

  • Stay away from high heat as it will break down the bond. Avoid Steam, Saunas, and hot showers.

  • Pick flowers, not your lashes.

  • Say No to mascara.

  • Brush your lashes everyday.

  • Use a gentle cleanser every other day ( evening or night time) to prevent oil build-up. This is important, some of my clients don't want to clean their lashes. Because they thought cleaning will make the extensions fall off. That's not right! The extensions fall off ( because of our natural lash circle. Like I said, 6-7 of your natural lashes will fall off everyday. Another reason why we need to clean them. Because we don't want oil to build up on your natural lashes. Think about it: I am applying extensions on the oil wrap around your natural lashes. The extensions will fall off after 2 seconds). For clients who don't keep up with cleaning, their eyes are easy to get infection and may lead to losing natural lashes permanently.

PLEASE NOTE

  •   In the Summer, stay away from smoke from grill foods (barbicide), swimming, besides that travel will also affect lash retention. Because the humidity changes. Swimming, Exercise also make the lashes fall faster.

  • In Winter, When you drive your car, let the heat flow to your feet instead of your face.

  • Clients who have light eyes or dry eyes are more sensitive and easy to get irritated. Normally the redness will go away after 2 days.

  • In case, your eyes get very swollen and puffy eyelids. Please contact me for removal. Benadrill is recommended in this situation. Please let me know if you had allergies history.
