What is Semi Permanent Makeup?

Permanent makeup, semi permanent makeup, cosmetic tattooing, and micropigmentation are all names for the same thing, which is implementing pigment into the papillary layer of the dermis”

Since they are not completely permanent, the treatments are described as semi permanent instead.

They will last approximately 3-4 years ( depends on your skin type and your lifestyle).  While Tatoo can leave a mark permanently on your skin and the pigment may turn red, purple or grayish. Microblading or powder brows will disappear after few years without leaving any pigment mark.

What’s Microblading, Ombre Powder Brows or Nano Brows Benefit?

Here is some benefits

It is Semi Permanent Makeup

  • Even out your brows and give you a perfect shape

  • Its waterproof

  • Saving you a lot of time

  • Gives you a very natural look

  • Shape and color varies by clients ...the beneficials outweighs disadvantages of not having it done.

  • The difference between Microblading and Powder Brow?

  • Microblading is accomplished by drawing free handed.. I will draw a very thin line ( follow your natural hair direction to create the most natural look). While Powder brow will work with a machine  and give you the full brow pencil makeup look. The results of Powder brow are more natural than using the makeup pencil but not as natural like Microblading.

How long does semi permanent makeup last?

Results of semi permanent makeup can last up to several years, depending on the procedure. Semi permanent eyeliner lasts about a year, micropigmentation lasts about 3 years (depending on the part of the skin treated), lip blushing can last up to 5 years, while results of microblading last up to 2 years.

Given that the pigments used are iron oxides which are injected relatively shallow into the skin, results eventually fade. Part of the pigments is broken down naturally by our bodies, while part of the pigment is removed mechanically – skin renews itself, old cells die and are shedded, new cells eventually emerge. This is in no way a minus.

In fact, eventual fading is desirable, as skin changes color and texture throughout the years, facial features change, we might want to dye our hair a shade that wouldn’t match our brows, or we might simply want to change up our look. That’s where touch ups kick in as an opportunity to refresh and modify the results.

How to know which one will fit you?

The answer will be on your lifestyle and your preferences, plus We have to check your skin type. If you have oily skin, sensitive skin, mature skin, big pore skin....will not a good candidate for Microblading. Please trust us on our suggestions. So many failed results has happened when clients don't want to take advices.

For the best Pigment Retention. We need your full cooperation. 99% Clients who follow a good after care process will have GREAT results. Please only plan to book an appointment when you're ready for follow after care. If you could be Lazy for 7-10 days it would be Perfect. Please NO exercise, Sun bathing, vacation and try to stay in a cool room temperature. You still can go  to work, do errands as normal.

Another thing We need to mention is to wash your hair before the appointment, keep in mind you may need your family member to help you wash your hair or you may need to go to a hair salon for the hair wash. You also could try to wash your hair by yourself if you feel it is ok and your Brows wont get wet in the first 7-10 days. That is the most important thing We want to let you know in advance.

PRE - TREATMENTS....

Face Complexion

Pre Treatment:

  • Please refrain from all alcohol and aspirin products, such as blood thinners.

  • Please refrain from Ibuprofen and Aleve for 24 hours prior to your appointment.

  • The only product for aches and pain that will not make you bleed is Tylenol.

  • Also refrain from Vitamin E and fish oil capsules for 7 days prior to your application.

ALL of these make you bleed excessively. Excessive bleeding during the procedure will negatively affect the longevity of your semi-permanent makeup application.

  • Please avoid energy drinks that have caffeine & coffee for up to 24 hours prior to your appointment. Not having caffeine in your system will help you to relax much more easily, as well as help to relax the facial muscles in the areas we will be working on.
Looking for Medicine

We also can't work on Clients with these conditions:

#1 Pregnant Or Breastfeeding

I do not recommend this because it is not worth taking a risk for your child.

#2 Keloid Scars

I do not want to touch keloids because they may have scar tissue built up beneath the skin and do not want to take that risk of cutting that area of the skin.

#3 Autoimmune Diseases

Due to your compromised skin health.

#4 On Blood Thinner Or Have Bleeding Disorders

Pinpoint bleeding is normal, whereas excessive bleeding is not. If you are on blood thinners this could allow you to bleed too much which will make it more difficult to implant the pigment into the skin. The pigment will be pushed out and the microblading process will be very difficult to achieve.

#5 On Accutane Within The Last Year

Accutane extremely thins the top layer of your skin. We want your skin to be at its normal healthy self during microblading and also so it can heal properly.

#6 Botox Within The Last 2 Weeks

If you’ve gotten botox near your brow area it is best to wait the 2 weeks before getting microblading because that is when the injected substances have fully settled on the facial muscles.

#7 Stop Retinol/Retina 1 Week Prior

If used too close to the procedure date then this may allow your brows to fade quicker which we do not want!

#8 Sunburnt Or Have Dermatitis

You must be completely healed from both of these before your appointment because if not then your skin will flake, resulting in loss of pigment from microblading.

#9 Chemical Peels, Facials, Microdermabrasion 4 Weeks Prior

These are to be avoided because the outer layer of the skin is removed. Removing the top layer of the skin will result in loss of pigment in your new microbladed strokes.

#10 Allergic To Nickel, Lidocaine, Epinephrine

I use a tiny blade made of nickel that cuts the skin so we do not want you having an allergic reaction during the procedure. Also, the numbing agents we use contain both lidocaine and epinephrine so we do not want you having a reaction to these either.

  • DAY 2-7: Repeat the step of Day 1. Plus Keep eyebrows lightly glossed with the cream

  • for three to four times a day for the next 7 days. Do not overuse ointment. After care kit should last you for 7 days. Do not suffocate your eyebrows.

  • Do not use any Retin-A, Glycolic Acids, Peroxide, Neosporin while healing

  • Do not scrub or pick your eyebrows ---> Picking or rubbing will lost the pigment and traumatize your skin.

  • Do not expose the area to sun or tanning beds! Must use hat if in the sun.

  • Avoid any facials ,swimming, whirlpools or sauna for 7 days.

  • Do not exercise the first 3-5 days at least. No heavy sweating ! for safety please wait until your brows are healed.

  • No make-up on the eyebrows!

  • Do not tint eyebrows for the next 10 days.

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER MICROBLADING OR EYEBROW POWDER PROCEDURES

What to Expect after the treatments:

  • Slight swelling, thickness, and/or redness for one or two days following the procedure.

  • It is normal to lose approximately 1/3 of the color during the healing process.

  • After the initial procedure, the color may be a shade too dark, in six days it will appear to light. After 10 days the color will show more.

  • It will appear softer when completely healed because the color will come from the dermal layer of the skin to the epidermal layer of the skin.

  • >>>> Please be patient. Healing takes up to 30 days. In your next appointment more hairs can be added and make them perfect.

  • The brows are approximately 20 to 25% darker and bolder in the width than they will be when healed. Your skin is red under the pigment which causes the color of the pigment to appear darker. There is some swelling, although difficult to actually see due to the thickness of the skin in the eyebrow area. This will subside. Exfoliation, which begins in a few days, will cause the excess pigment surrounding the eyebrow procedure to flake away and a narrower appearance of your eyebrows. Don’t be concerned that your eyebrows initially appear darker and heavier in size then you desire. This is all part of the process.

Policies and Prices

We are running special discount for Brows Semi Permanent Makeup ( contact us for details)

You can pay separately for the services instead of paying the total of everything in 1 time.

  • Every Brows will take 2 appointments to Finish.

  • After the Initial appointment. You will need to come back after 2 months to keep up with the second appointment. Each appointment needs 2 months apart. 2 and half months is acceptable for me. But please don't wait longer than that.

  • In case you need the 3rd touchup (normally you don't need the 3rd Touch Up) there will be a $85 supplied fee applied for the supplies fee only.

We also suggest clients come back after 18 months or longer than 18 months to refresh all the hair strokes or any pigment left. Coming back too early will make the hair strokes look too thick because the previous work is not completely gone. The pigment will not look fresh and unnatural.

  • Please understand After 18 months it will be considered a full service again. At that time your Brows may still have color on already. But We sure some pigment has already gone. We still have to redo all the steps and spend as much time as the full Brows set…. It is Semi Permanent Makeup and Brows are the center of your face. So We want to make sure We have enough time to carefully give you a New Brows Art work. Beautiful shape, Beautiful Hair Strokes and beautiful pigment color.

  • In case you need to come back sooner than 18 months Please contact us for pricing...

By signing this agreement, you comply with these terms.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about the post procedural care.
